Up! Up! Up! Up!
Sorry I haven't written in so long, but we haven't been able to get internet. Now I'm going to tell you where we are. We are camping in the mountains in France!!!! We brought our tent and we got a big rental car with foldup seats, so every breakfast lunch and dinner we can eat in it. We just use the tent for sleeping. Our camping site has lots of facilities too, like bathrooms, showers, places to wash dishes and do laundry, brushing your teeth. There is even an internet room in which I am writing to you right now. Today we drove to an opening in the mountains and we hiked right in. We hiked for a long time and on the way we saw an opening where there was absolutely no shade at all. We saw a giant waterfall and lots of boulders on the river which I climbed on a lot. Then we ate some sweet bread, had some water, and moved on. Then we just aimed up, up, up... Finally Mom said we had to start going back down even though I wanted to keep going.

AGAIN!!???!!!???
Today I only want to tell you about one thing that happened. We went to an aquarium where you could pet fish and when Elliott tried to pet one, he just fell right in head first. I couldn't believe how the fish just got out of the way. They made an Elliott shape hole for him to fall right in. We dried his clothes off in the bathroom with the hand dryers. Then we left.

Dad is here!
Yesterday Dad finally got off the plane and came to our apartment. He didn't come until really late in the morning, so the house was filled with quiet anticipation. We watched from our balcony outside to see when he would cross the crosswalk. I thought he did once, but it wasn't him. When we got here, we were barefoot at the elevator waiting for him and when he got out we just tackled him! When he got in the apartment and put his bags down we tackled him some more until he said that it was enough. Then Dad changed his clothes and we showed him around the town. We went to my favorite patisserie to get of course another lemon pie and a baguette. Then we went to a close playground, the river and showed him the Eiffel Tower.
Today we went to an inside-out building with all the pipes, air-conditioners, and elevators outside, but the inside was a museum. The first exhibit was called DreamLand. I don't know why because it was just sculptures of strange things but it sure was fun..ee!!!! There was even a lips couch! When we got out of DreamLand, Dad said we should go have lunch at a special restaurant that his friend reccomended. It was a Falafel filled with yummy stuff--completely vegetarian I should note. I didn't eat all of it but I ate most of it. Elliott dropped a piece of his Falafel and the pigeons just attacked it. They even attacked each other to get to it. There was one that had a limp leg that was all curled up and it only put the top of its toes on the ground. I even saw a pigeon with a stump leg (a pirate pigeon)!!! Then we went back to the inside-out building to look at more art. It started raining just before we went in, and when we got out, it was still raining a bit, but by the time we got home on the subway it stopped. Ok, I'm done, bye bye, make some comments.

Le Petite Labrinthe
Today we went to a big park that took all the stops on the train. When we got there there were all these cafes that Mom said we would go to later. When we got there the first thing we saw was a sign that pointed to a labrinth. We found out that it was just bushes with holes in them for children to climb through, but boy was it fun! We played there for an hour, but Elliott got too many scratches plus bumped his head on a rock. We had to leave anyway, because I was getting hungry. We went to a pizza restraunt and ordered a chicken-and-egg pizza. Cool! Then we went to a bookstore and got Elliott a book. Not me though, because I needed to go to the bathroom. We found one, but it was out of order. Then we found another that had a faucet so we could wash our hands. Mom said we should go to a playground but it had construction in it. We found another one, played for a while, and went home...

Arc De Triomph
Today we walked down a street that had stores on stores on stores! We didn't go in any of them except two. The first one was a Disney Store which had Toy Story 3 stuff. The second one was just a huge toy store that had an upstairs too. The first floor was pretty packed, though. I saw video games, samples of games that were out so you could play with them, but the most fun part was seeing a whole aisle filled with toy dragons. My dream come true!!! But unfortunately we did not buy any. Boo Hoo! Mom saw an IPhone store, but she didn't tell me about it until we were past it, because she didn't want me to beg to go in there and play the sample video games. She thinks I could live the rest of my life without video games BUT I CAN'T! We kept walking at at the end of the street we saw the Arc de Triomph! It looked to me like a big rectangle on legs with big carvings all over it. And guess what! we got to walk UNDER the street to get over there, so we didn't have to dodge all the cars and speeding motorcycles.

A Real Rest
Today we finally had a nice, quiet, rest day. But first we went to a pharmacy to get ointment and band aids for all our scratches. We also got a clay mask for me. But when we got home and I put it on, it stung my face so I had to take it off real quick! Mom finished her delicious lasagna. Guess what, it took 2 days to make, but it was worth it, because it was so yummy.

Children's Museum
Today we went to the biggest playground EVER!!!!!!! A children's museum! We had to take 2 trains to get there, but we did it. When we got there the line was real long to get tickets. We survived and got our tickets to go in. To our dissappointment, we found out that we could only stay for 90 minutes. When we got in first thing I saw was a little garden exhibit. I went in and saw ANTS! a real ant hill! and it was glass so I could see the ants doing their work inside. There was even a cemetery where they put all the dead ants. And I learned that a worker and a queen rub antennas to see if they are from the same colony. If they are, then the worker can feed the queen. And I learned that all the food scraps go into one big compost pile. They have different rooms for different types of food too, like grain, fruit and meat. There was a butterfly room with butterflies everywhere! And flowers and plants that butterflies like to suck on. Then we heard some rock music so we went through a little door and there was a stage where you could pretend that you were playing the instruments and it filmed you and looked like you were professional rock bands singing old songs. There were lots of other things, but it would probably take up all of my blog space if I wrote it all down here. I HAVE to go to bed.
